Rioned is the European market leader in drain cleaning and jetting equipment. The company covers all aspects of business from engineering and designing the products, to the sales department and then the after sales service. Rioned also offers a complete package rental service for some machines.
The UK team is based in Thetford, Norfolk with a sister company in Keighley, West Yorkshire. Across these two sites are just 25 employees which means the UK team is small and agile. The business relies on all employees to roll up their sleeves, really get involved and provide input into processes regardless of role or position.

This role would ideally suit someone with an engineering or motor trade background who would be keen to learn new skills. Rioned are looking for a mobile service technician for one of these two areas:
- Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby Area
- Stevenage, Luton Area
Responsibilities and duties
- Reactive jobs which are scheduled to service and repair high pressure jetting machines on customer worksites
- Fill in manuel/electronic job cards to a detailed and precise standard, recording labour, travel and parts used
- Be proactive to find new work, service contracts and selling products on work van
- Stays away from home will be required on occasions (hotels will be paid for)
- Maintain our rental fleet of 50 jetters
- Maintain stock levels on your service van
- Keep work van tidy, organised and presentable
- Liaise with Technical Advisor/service manager to fulfill technical queries and scheduled jobs
- Report to service manager for all aspects of the role
- On occasions installation of new jetters will be required

Qualifications and Experience
- Engineering or motor trade background
- Experience with plant or agricultural machines would be a benefit
- Experience in an after sales environment
- PC literate with an understanding for windows products
- Clean and valid driving licence

- £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience

Training and familiarisation
We believe that everyone should know and understand our products inside out. As such, over the first few months in this role we will equip you with the relevant PPE and ask you to go out with our current Service Technicians, our Sales Team and even some customers. We want you to see real life problems and then understand how our customers use our products to diagnose and resolve such issues.
